DO YOU OFFER A CONSULTATION FIRST?
Yes, we do. You have the option of choosing to purchase a 10 minute consultation with our master perfumer first so you work through what you're hoping to create, and what is possible to achieve. We want your custom scent to be everything you hope it will be!
You can purchase a consult here. (Consults can be conducted via phone or email).
DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES?
Yes, we do. You can choose (and it's recommended) to create your scent as a sample first if you prefer. We will make 2 samples for $49, both slightly different, of you chosen blend, so you can decide which one your prefer. We save every formula, so when you're ready you can order your full size 50ml perfume.
I LOVED A CUSTOM SCENT BAR PERFUME I HAD MADE WITH ONE SEED - CAN I HAVE IT MADE AGAIN THROUGH THE NEW SCENT BAR?
Yes, absolutely! We have saved every Scent Bar formula since 2014, so if you had it custom-made through ONE SEED, we can make it again! We just need an approximate date it was made to get started.
TIP: if you don't know any of the notes in your original formula, just select any from the list, but add any detail you can recall in the “Additional Details” section about your original custom scent.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF CUSTOM SCENTS?
Your new scent will have a shelf life of 2+ years. Make sure you store it away from direct sunlight and heat to keep it fresh for as long as possible.
HOW DO I ENSURE I GET THE RESULT I WANT?
We recommend having samples made first, even if you have a consultation. Not only does this ensure you can try your creative idea in a small way before you commit to a full size bottle, it also gives you the option of 2 samples so you can be sure the final result it spot-on.
WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOM PERFUMES MADE OF?
We only use 100% natural ingredients. The base it organic sugar cane ethanol (alcohol) with of water, and the fragrance ingredients (which are always plant-derived natural essential oils, resins, absolutes, tinctures and isolates) make up around 8-10% of the formula. We never use synthetic ingredients.
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST ON MY SKIN?
As Scent Bar perfumes are eau de toilette concentration, they will last from 3-6 hours, depending on the ingredients you choose. Generally speaking, the lighter the chosen notes (such as citruses, light florals), the shorter it will last on your skin. For a fragrance that lasts as long as possible, ensure you have 2-3 base notes, and include natural isolates.

Yes, absolutely. You can purchase a gift card for a 50ml Scent Bar perfume here. (Note that gift cards don't include a consultation, but you have the option of adding a consultation to your purchase also).
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY ON SCENT BAR?
There are no refunds on custom-made products, except in a couple of situations. You can read more about our refund policy here. We suggest purchasing samples of your fragrance design first so you know you'll love it!
